Born in Copenhagen, currently living in London and Copenhagen. Wendy Plovmand has been working as a professional artist since graduating from Central Saint Martins with an MA in Fine Art (Distinction) in 2010 and the Design School of Denmark in 2001.
Wendy's creative curiosity has allowed her to span a variety of media and creative fields - from illustration to fashion, graphic design, art direction and Fine Art.
Wendy¹s distinctive style has earned numerous grants from national institutions such as The Cultural Ministry of Denmark, The Art Foundation of Denmark and the National Bank of Denmark.
New York, Berlin, London and Tokyo are among the locations Wendy's work has been exhibited and her work has appeared in numerous worldwide prestigious books and publications by Taschen, Die Gestalten, Victionary and Images 32+34, The best of British illustration 2008 and 2010.
Clients include Topshop, Nylon, Ellegirl/Korea, Cosmogirl/NY, The Guardian, Organic Pharmacy, Johnson & Johnson, Unicef, The Royal Theater of Denmark, and The Republic of Fritz Hansen.
